Elizabeth Loughran
Voiceovers | Dialect Coach
Hello! You may have already heard my voice, since I’ve been working as a voiceover and on-camera performer since the age of four! Starting out in Pittsburgh as a child model and actress, I continued my training at Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a BFA in Theatre. I have appeared, on stages, on screens, on radio and on national commercials and in-house industrial spots hundreds of times since then.

In addition to my acting work, for more than 25 years, I have helped actors and professionals with Speech and Dialect Coaching. Do you want to sound different for a role, or simply want to be heard and understood better? I can teach you the dialect of a character from someplace different, or we can work on reducing your own accent. For example, I’ve taught British and Aussie actors to sound American, and American actors to sound French, British, Southern, Italian, Slavic, Native American, etc. I’ve taught an Egyptian lawyer and a Polish Sportscaster, among others, to be better understood in their professions. I have been on the faculty of Carnegie Mellon, SUNY Purchase, Montclair State, and Circle in the Square Theatre School.
My fee is 100 per hour. We meet in convenient Midtown studios, or I can travel to you in NYC, North Jersey, or Rockland.
Discounts are available for current and past students, and for multiple sessions.
